ELYC is holding its annual open regatta in early June. This is a popular event attracting up to 140 boats, so early booking is essential. The large sailing area is off the attractive holiday resort of North Berwick.
As usual there will be separate courses for dinghies, skiffs and asymetrics. Dinghies will race to the west of Craigleith and skiffs and asymetrics to the east, towards the Bass Rock. The races will include the around the Bass Rock Race for skiffs and the Alba Cup for Laser 2Ks.
Registration is £30 for single-handers and £35 for double-handers. Racing over two days starts on Saturday 7th at 12:55 with a briefing at 12:00 hours at the clubhouse. Racing on the Sunday will start at 10:55.
All classes are welcome. The event includes Merlins, the Scottish Skiffs Handicap, 29ers RS400, RS200 Scottish Championship, Laser 2K, Phantom Scottish Nationals, Streaker Scottish Nationals, Laser Grandprix Series and Radial Grandprix Series.

The Sail Loft Café will be open early on both days and the bar will be open late. For those not too tired by their exploits on the water there will be off the water entertainment (and quite possibly vigorous dancing) in the marquee on Anchor Green.
