The sailing club also relies on supporters of our club who provide financial support, which allows us to develop and provide access to sailing opportunities for as low a cost as possible. Below is a list of people / organisations who have helped us recently, all of whom we are very grateful for their continued support.

Friends

The Dalgety Bay Sailing Club regards themselves as a vital part of our local community and therefore do all we can to accommodate local charity or voluntary groups in their efforts. We do not donate funding to these groups, but will look at ways to provide facilities free of charge, or at a highly discounted rate, to help them raise funding or operate. We see this as something that works along side our key aim to promote sailing for all and ensure that water sports are an accessible to all sectors of our community.

We also endeavour to foster links with local schools and community groups to give people every opportunity to experience sailing.

Our current Friends of DBSC are as follows (click on their logo to find out more)

CycingDalgetyBayA group set up to promote cycling and healthy living in our area. We provide our facilities free of charge to allow them to run fund raising events and to host their annual bike festival

TTTalking Tandems is a tandem cycling club that promotes the integration of individuals who are blind, partially sighted or have a dual sensory loss with sighted people and local community groups by enabling them to enjoy all aspects of cycling thus building confidence to change lives in varied and positive ways. Currently they use our clubhouse for meetings.
