The Dalgety Bay Sailing Club Open day is looking like it will be a brilliant day to pay the sailing club a visit and see what we get up to, as well as finding out about The Friends of DBSC who use our facilities.
Open Day starts at 10am and continues to midnight! In the interest of neighborly relations, the event will move to the inside from 7:30pm.
The following is what is currently planned, but is continually being added, so please do check back regularly –
There will racing on the water, with three races scheduled in the afternoon that will be starting just off the headland…. starts are the best bit for spectators.
The Sailing Club
Cake & Tea
Cycle Dalgety Bay
Dalgety Bay Round Table – find out about this years Beer Festival
Dalgety Bay Gala
RNLI – hopefully, if not busy
Other race events on the day, with an award ceremony for the winners
The Fire Brigade in the afternoon – and yes, they will be bringing a Fire Engine!
BBQ will be keeping everyone fed all day long
In the evening our resident band Shorelight (who are starting to get more widely known) will be doing a session.
